What started out as three women sitting around a kitchen table soldering, is now an organisation manufacturing internet-connected sensors in Shenzhen and creating unique data sovereignty plans that could benefit the entire country. Not-for-profit Whare Hauora was founded in 2017 by Amber Craig and Brenda Wallace. Hīria Te Rangi joined a year later and was then handed the reins as kaiwhakahaere (chief executive).
