Preedy donates 15 laptops to Maloney school

Akeem “Preedy” Chance is excited to display one of the donated laptops at a brief handover held in December. The devices will go a long way in ensuring connectivity for some of the students of the Maloney Government Primary School. -
FULFILLING a commitment he made to the Maloney Government Primary School in June 2020, Digicel Soca Avenger, Akeem “Preedy” Chance closed off the year handing over 15 laptops to his alma mater.
The donation was made possible through collaboration with the Digicel Foundation under Phase II of its Connecting You programme, said a media release.

THE Digicel Foundation has donated $200,000 to four NGOs (non-governmental organisations) as part of its Better Together Christmas initiative. It said the initiative will ensure to help communities have a prosperous and bright 2021.
The foundation had asked NGOs to submit initiatives that will make a difference in the lives of the people from their communities on November 30. The deadline for submission was December 14.
