A Bernalillo County correctional officer was arrested last week for allegedly beating his girlfriend and holding her against her will at a Southwest Albuquerque apartment complex.
Christopher Facey
Christopher Facey, a 30-year-old Metropolitan Detention Center officer, is charged with false imprisonment, interference with communications and battery against a household member in the Jan. 5 incident.
Facey made headlines in 2018 when he was sentenced to probation after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor battery charge after he beat an inmate at MDC. That case ended in a reported $70,000 settlement with the county.
