Qatar Care marks International Nurses Day  13 May 2021 - 6:22 The Peninsula Qatar Care yesterday marked International Nurses Day and distributed gifts among staff working as volunteers. Qatar Care, established in 2007, is the first company to provide home nursing and medical services in the state of Qatar and first Home Care and Medical Services Agency in Qatar with the Diamond Level of Accreditation granted by Accreditation Canada International. At the occasion, CEO of Qatar Care, Saleh Al Eida (pictured), said, “Today is the International Nurses Day, so Qatar Care as first company for home care in Qatar and whose major work is nursing, physiotherapy, taking care of elders and newborns and their mothers, participated in protocol of MoPH and gave some gifts to our staff who are working as volunteers.”

Registration is now open with reduced fees. The conference includes four keynote addresses, 18 sessions, eight intensive sessions, and a legislative policy panel. Continuing education credits will be available. For participants registered for the full conference, there will be a limited number of enduring credits available for one year after the conference, and all presentation recordings will be available. The Dakota Conference provides an opportunity for healthcare professionals, educators, and students to share strategies for building and sustaining healthy communities in North Dakota. It includes two and one half days of pre- and post-conference meetings, keynote speakers, breakout sessions, poster presentations, and an awards banquet.

Norwich  Among public power companies across the nation, Norwich Public Utilities is a straight-A student in the grading of its record on providing a reliable and safe electric service, according to the American Public Power Association. Every three years, the association invites public utilities to apply for a designation as a Reliable Public Power Provider, called an RP3 designation. An 18-member panel rates each utility’s reliability, safety, workforce development and system improvement. NPU scored a 99 out of a possible top score of 100, earning the highest Diamond Level rating, Eric McDermott, NPU electric integrity manager, who coordinates NPU’s application, told the Board of Public Utilities Commissioners on Tuesday.
