Victims joined Oakland Police today and renewed their call to solve a crime that took place three years ago. Eduardo childress was shot dead near Garfield Elementary school. They believe the same gunman killed larry la vet and left his body near Diamond Canyon park. We know somebody who knows about it. I know that his friends knows. No doubt about it. Why no one come forward, i dont know. Not so much about a number or stat, but about a person. But about a family member, about a community. Police say they have some leads but not enough to prosecute anyone for killing childress and le vet.
