Diageo has lined up the roll-out of its oldest single malt Scotch whisky to date.
Featuring in The Singleton s Paragon of Time series, which debuted two years ago with a 53-year-old iteration, the 54-year-old whisky was distilled in 1966 at the group s distillery in Speyside s Dufftown, home to William Grant & Sons The Balvenie and Glenfiddich production sites. The liquid spent most of its life in European oak casks before finishing its ageing process in an ex-Pedro Ximenez Sherry cask.
