Blizzard is adding eight new inventive runewords into Diablo 2 aimed at the early to mid-game, however the runewords may not find much use in the game.
Blizzard Entertainment announced the additional in-game elements for Diablo II: Resurrected as part of its Patch 2.4 Update that includes new Rune Words and new Horaldric Cube recipes, all of which will be implemented first in a Public Test Realm. They also revealed the possible balance tweaks for the game's Job classes.
