Meet the inspiring female front runners honoured at ARN Women in ICT Awards

​ARN is proud to showcase the winners, highly commended and finalists of the new-look Women in ICT Awards (WIICTA) in 2021, setting a new industry benchmark for female achievement and accomplishment in Australia. Following a record-breaking number of submissions, 205 finalists (185 individuals and 20 companies) were honoured from a pool of 120 organisations and more than 340 nominations, spanning partner, telco, vendor and distributor businesses. Following an intensive judging process – ​selected by an executive panel of more than 150 industry leaders –​ 23 winners were selected across eight categories, in addition to five highly commended acknowledgements.​

​More than 600 leading executives within the Australian channel came together under the ARN banner to honour female excellence and innovation at the new-look Women in ICT Awards (WIICTA) in 2021, following an industry-defining celebration in Sydney. In housing the largest audience for a gender diversity and inclusion (D&I) channel awards program in Australia – more than 200 finalists were honoured from a record-breaking pool of over 340 nominations, spanning partner, telco, vendor and distributor businesses. WIICTA – now in its 10th year of running – honoured the channel across eight categories, spanning Innovation, Technical, Entrepreneur, Graduate, Rising Star, Shining Star, Achievement and D&I Champion (Company and Individual) awards.​

New date for ARN Women in ICT Awards New date for ARN Women in ICT Awards Representing the entire Australian ecosystem, 205 finalists make the shortlist from a pool of more than 120 organisations and over 340 nominations, spanning partner, telco, vendor and distributor businesses #WIICTA ICC Sydney on Tuesday 7 September, in what will be the largest celebration of female excellence within the technology channel across Australia. The decision to reschedule comes in response to evolving COVID-19 developments at both state and national levels. “We remain fully committed to the preparation and delivery of our in-person WIICTA event but understand all precautionary actions must be taken,” said Cherry Yumul, vice president of Strategic Partnerships and Innovation at IDG. “At this stage, our top priority remains the health and safety of event attendees, partners, suppliers, staff, speakers and any others involved in our events or business interactions.”
