GUNTUR: The Sangam Dairy Board is now in the eye of controversy after its Chairman and senior TDP leader Dhulipalla Narendra Kumar was arrested by the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) for alleged financial and administrative irregularities conducted while managing the Board on April 23rd.
The former Ponnur MLA Narendra, who is A1 in the Sangam Dairy financial irregularities case along with the Managing Director P Gopala Krishna and M Gurunadham former District Cooperative Officer were sent to remand for 14 days by the ACB Court and are currently lodged in Rajahmundry Central Jail.
The State government issued an order on Tuesday cancelling the transfer of management of the Sangam Dairy to the Guntur District Milk Producers’ Cooperative Union Limited where the day-to-day activities would be monitored by the Sub Collector of Tenali Division, Guntur district.

VIJAYAWADA: The Andhra Pradesh High Court asked the state government to submit details on the measures it is taking to handle the Coronavirus pandemic spread.
A division bench of Chief Justice A.K. Goswami and Justice C. Praveen Kumar heard a petition filed by APCLA joint secretary Mohan Rao seeking details as to whether the state government is following Covid control guidelines and the number of tests being done, among other salient aspects.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is going full throttle against not just Opposition leader and his bête noire N. Chandrababu Naidu but all the TDP leaders. He is keen on paying back in the same coin to each TDP leader who had attacked him or his cadre, when the YCP was in the Opposition, say political observers.

‘Former MLA’s buildings in Vizag demolished without prior notice’
TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu has slammed the State government for “targeting” the Opposition leaders at a time when it is expected to initiate measures to contain the spread of COVID-19.
In a statement on Sunday, Mr. Naidu condemned the demolition of buildings belonging to former TDP MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao, at Old Gajuwaka in Visakhapatnam “without prior notice.”
‘Vengeful acts’
“While the other State government are busy in rescuing their people from the deadly infection, the YSRCP government is preoccupied with its vengeful acts,” Mr. Naidu said.
Former TDP MLA Dhulipalla Narendra was wrongfully arrested a couple of days ago and Mr. Srinivasa Rao’s property was unlawfully demolished in Visakhapatnam, Mr. Naidu alleged.
