India s light combat aircraft Tejas and advanced light helicopter Dhruv will participate in the biennial Dubai airshow that is scheduled to take place from November 13 to 17. The two platforms are part of the Indian Air Force s deployment at the prestigious event, officials said on Wednesday.
After crashes, the Indian military has grounded MiG-21 fighters and Dhruv helicopters. India still needs to find a way to overcome deep-seated challenges to replace ageing aircraft.
The Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Dhruv has been recently involved in multiple crashes along with the crash of the Indian Coast Guard and Indian Navy in the past.
