Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh’s lawyer today said the mayor has served a legal notice on The Daily Star seeking Tk 100 crore for defaming him in a satire piece on May 13.
A legal notice has been served to the Editor, Executive Editor and a reporter of The Daily Star demanding Tk 1 billion in compensation for publishing a report over cutting trees in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC).
