A group of villagers in Noida, whose land was required for the boundary wall of the Noida International Airport, met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to seek compensation. The farmers had been in litigation for three years, causing a section of the wall to remain incomplete. However, the Uttar Pradesh government changed the land use last month, making the farmers eligible for compensation. The decision not only benefits these farmers but also others in the state who own similar land. Compensation is currently being disbursed to affected farmers.
