Mumbai: The
mumbai Municipal Corporation (
COVID-19 cases.
Dharavi, which has been witnessing a spike in the daily case count, reported 28 new cases today.
The total number of cases in the largest slum of Asia has increased to 6,288.
The active cases in the slum area stand at 944.
On the other hand, 73 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Mahim, taking the tally to 8,690.
In Dadar, a spike of 54 new cases came up and with that, the area s case count climbed to 8,599.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has started deploying mobile COVID-19 testing vans in some pockets of Dharavi fearing a possible resurgence in novel coronavirus infections.
G Northward, which comprises Dharavi, Dadar, and Mahim has recorded a weekly growth rate of 0.12 percent, according to a report by The Times of India.
