Exams of DU-affiliated colleges to continue
The ongoing and declared examinations of Dhaka University-affiliated seven colleges will continue without reopening of the student dormitories.
The decision was taken at a meeting held on Wednesday among Education Minister Dipu Moni, DU Vice Chancellor Muhammad Akhtaruzzaman and principals of the seven colleges, said an official.
“No student dormitories will be opened during the exam period,” said Dhaka College Principal IK Selim Ullah Khandar, also the in-charge of supervising the educational activities of the seven colleges (focal point). 2021-02-24

The students blocked Nilkhet intersection yesterday for two hours with the same demands.
Students alleged that they are facing session jam as the colleges are affiliated with the DU.
After repeated requests, the authorities had decided to take their exams but they are now saying that they will postpone the examinations.

Mohammad Lincoln, a fourth-year student of Dhaka College, said he has only one examination left and now the DU authorities are considering postponing the examinations. Halls are closed following the pandemic and we were participating in the examination staying at messes. If the examinations are postponed, we have to stay at the messes at our own cost for the next three months, he said.
