Shares on the Dhaka Stock Exchange opened marginally higher today, building on the gains in the last three days, reflecting investors’ expectations that the central bank would come up with a monetary policy that would support the market.
Shares on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) continued to rise for the second consecutive day today. The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, added 23 points, or 0.37 per cent, to 6,344 at 1:00 pm. Turnover stood at Tk 482 crore.
