GENEVA, December 16, 2020 About 33 per cent of UAE travellers plan on taking a vacation abroad in the next 3-6 months compared to 25 per cent in Saudi Arabia and 20 per cent in Egypt, according to regional travel data insights. The data was revealed at the global Tourism Acceleration Program in the Mena region, a program designed to boost innovation and digital transformation in the tourism sector, hosted by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in partnership with Google. The second edition of online event targeted the tourism sector the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt by providing key insights and market intelligence for effective tourism planning.
