An investigation is underway after a 15-year-old boy was shot and killed in North Highlands over the weekend.
Dezay Richardson and another teen were shot near Renick Way Saturday night. Richardson died at the scene, and the other was taken to the hospital in critical condition. As investigators look into the incident, Sacramento youth activist Berry Accius says these situations can sometimes start from social media.
At a candlelight vigil, Dezay Richardson, 15, is remembered for his dancing, humor, neatness and potential.
