Despite winter storm warnings from the National Weather Service, about 50 people braved the elements Saturday to honor the area’s fallen heroes on Soldiers’ Hill at Evergreen Cemetery.
A small group of about 20 people turned out Saturday afternoon to pay respects to the soldiers interred at Houlton’s Evergreen Cemetery by placing wreaths on their graves.
