Today, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting released the list of new committee members for the Film Censor Board. According to the existing laws, the new committee members will serve for the next one year. As always, the chairman of the committee will be the Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Campaigns for the upcoming election of the Bangladesh Film Directors Association has started at Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC). The hustle and bustle of the voters and candidates are keeping the venue busy, especially the Board of Directors office and canteen premises.
The contesting candidates have been paying multiple visits to BFDC, and are often seen requesting for their peers support. The applicants had to turn in their nomination papers by March 10.
The total number of voters in this election is 361. Owing to the pandemic, the nominated candidates have turned to social media platforms, phone calls, and BFDC campaigns to ask for votes, replacing the regular campaigns, where the candidates would often visit the voters personally at their resid
