you factor in dew points of 70, plus, that s the measurement of the moisture near the surface. you can evaluate that and get your humidity percentage. it feels like 103 degrees in washington, d.c. 80-plus possible records over the next weekend. we have high temperatures reaching above normal and record warm lows. this is just going to be an ongoing situation. phoenix under excessive heat warnings, st. louis under the warning. d.c., you re not under the warning, but just to the south you are. back across the lower mississippi valley all under heat advisories through the upcoming few days. excessive heat watches are in effect for the florida panhandle. it s not just the southwest. it s much of the country. you ve got to hydrate all the time no matter where you live in this kind of heat.
