MT. CARMEL MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH hosted the first sermon of Tristan Craig Sr. on Jan. 8. The pastor, the Rev. Anthony Craig Sr., and Mt. Carmel church thank everyone for their prayers and support during the service, according to a spokesman.
FAMILY CHURCH at White Hall will host a Night of Worship at 5 p.m. Sunday. The event will feature all three campuses coming together at the White Hall church to kick off the 7 Days of Prayer and Fasting Jan. 9-15, according to a Facebook post. Family Church has locations at Pine Bluff, Redfield and White Hall.
mINTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF PRAISE, 4511 Faucett Road, and its pastors, Willie and Carla Edwards, will celebrate the ministry s 19th anniversary at 5 p.m. Sunday. The guest ministry will be Wheeler Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with pastor and wife, Timothy and Marcia Pratt. International House of Praise will host also a New Year s revival at 7 p.m. Jan. 2-4. The special guests will be the prophet and wife, Leonard and Jessie Ford.
HOUSE OF BREAD DELIVERANCE CHURCH, 1501 W. Second Ave., will present a winter revival, "Jesus is the Reason for the Season," Friday through Sunday. The guest evangelist will be April Carey of Patmos World Outreach Ministries of Columbus, Ohio. On Friday and Saturday, prayer begins at 6 p.m. and service at 7 p.m. On Sunday, prayer is at 2 p.m. and service at 3 p.m., according to a news release.
