Other contributors include Meridian, ID-based investment firm and real estate developer Capital Eleven and undisclosed individual investors. Crave plans to use the funding to build pre-opening teams for the next four Crave Collective facilities opening in 2021, followed by 10 more in 2022. Crave hopes to satisfy big hunger

First posted on BoiseDev.com Dec. 17, 2020.Meridian-based startup Crave Hospitality said it raised $7.3 million from investors primarily local individuals. Its a so-called “seed round,” which helps startups fund initial operations. Crave launched a restaurant delivery platform in Meridian earlier this year. StageDotO, the Boise-based venture capital firm, led the funding. CEO Devin Wade told BoiseDev that all the other investors in the seed round are local individuals. “This round includes multiple local investors,” Crave investor Travis Hawkes said. “I don’t think any company has reached this much seed money from local sources.” Expanding across USWade said they hope to build four additional Crave locations across the US next year, and another ten in 2022. The company will be headquartered in Meridian, in addition to the local delivery operation.

2 suspects arrested in fatal stabbing of Uber driver in Issaquah KOMO News Staff © Provided by KOMO-TV Seattle ISSAQUAH, Wash. – Police say they arrested two suspects Wednesday in connection to the fatal stabbing of an Uber driver in Issaquah Police say a 21-year-old Olivia Bebic and a 21-year-old Devin Wade, both from Bellevue, were arrested for investigation of second-degree murder and were booked into King County Jail. They are each being held on $2 million bail.  At 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Issaquah Police responded to a single vehicle crash in the 8200 block of Renton-Issaquah Road Southeast. Police say they found 28-year-old Cherno Ceesay dead in the driver’s seat. The King County Medical Examiner’s Office determined Ceesay died from stab wounds to the head and neck.
