All Walmart stores in Oregon began scheduling COVID-19 vaccine appointments on Wednesday, March 10, according to a news release.
As new appointments become available, slots will appear online at www.walmart.com/COVIDvaccine. Times vary by store. Vaccines through Walmart are available to those currently eligible under Oregon Health Authority guidelines, including those age 65 and up and certain professions.
âNinety percent of the country lives within ten miles of a Walmart. Weâre committed to helping people live better â and healthier lives â in Oregon, and we take that role very seriously,â Dr. Cheryl Pegus, executive vice president of Health & Wellness for Walmart, said in a statement. âWe want to help the country reopen, but we can only achieve that through widespread COVID-19 vaccination.â
HERMISTON — Good Shepherd Health Care System expects to receive weekly COVID-19 vaccine allocations and will hold weekly vaccine events for those eligible under Oregon Health Authority guidelines.
