ELLSWORTH “Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital is delighted to announce the community’s first baby of the year,” said the hospital, in a news release. Owen Lawrence, son of Sarah and Devin Bray of Deer Isle, was the first baby born at Maine Coast.
With only enough beds to sleep one third of the unsheltered population in Winnipeg, emergency shelters are hoping to have enough beds for everyone who asks for one.
