After Brenden Boatwright sunk a game-winning shot on Friday for the Fort Lewis College men’s basketball team, Akuel Kot came up big for the team on Saturday in a 79-70 win over Angelo State University.

Salada Foods Jamaica on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, distributed resources valued at $1.5 million to the Jebb Memorial Basic School, to help teachers and students stay connected and better navigate the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Spanish Town Road-based basic school received 45 tablets to support students’ online learning, a handwashing sink, sanitiser dispensers and three laptops for teachers to aid the learning process.

ASU Men’s Basketball on Jan. 14 welcomed the No. 22 Lubbock Christian Chaparrals Thursday night and then headed to the Rip Griffin Center in Lubbock, Texas on Jan. 16 for the second game. In the first interdivisional action of the season, the Rams ended the weekend falling to the Chaparrals 87-69 on Thursday night and got edged out 69-66 on Saturday.
In Thursday s game between the two teams, Lubbock Christian had a big first half which set the tone for the remainder of the game. Lubbock Christian shot 57.9% from the field while ASU shot 47.2%. Junior Sam Baker was the Rams’ leading scorer with 17 points to go with a rebound and a steal. Senior Paul Williams would follow that with 14 points of his own to go with three rebounds, an assist and a steal of his own. Senior Burone Edwards was the Rams third-leading scorer in this game with 10 points and also added two rebounds and a block.

The ASU Rams Basketball Team on Dec. 11 traveled to the Burg Center in Dallas, Texas to take on the Dallas Baptist Patriots to start the 2020 season. Three-point shooting would falter for the Rams, as they lost Friday’s game 101-75 and Saturday’s game 93-86 to the Patriots on Dec. 12.
DBU had a strong first half in Friday s game, taking control and never letting up. ASU finished the game shooting 43.9% from the field, including 37.5% from behind the arc. DBU didn t seem to miss often, shooting 62.5% from the field, including 50% from behind the arc. They also outrebounded ASU 37-23.
