Summers in Europe, snowfall in Dharamshala and surfing in Pondicherry. This is what my 2020 would have been if the coronavirus pandemic would have not hit us hard. I had Instagram captions ready and planned all those weird travel reels in my mind but we all know how this year has been. Hopefully, 2021 would not be the same and I ll be able to check them off my bucket list (Secretly saving all my leaves). The coronavirus pandemic led to a delay in production of a number of shows and movies, whose release dates spilled over to 2021. Fan favourite shows like Stranger Things, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Lucifer, The Handmaid s Tale and The Marvelous Mrs Maisel have all been impacted by the Covid-19 outbreak. Hopefully things will look up in 2021. Here are the movies and shows that were are eagerly waiting for this year.

For majority of 2020, streaming platforms became our only source of entertainment. While cinema-going got eliminated from our lives for several months, OTT platforms jumped in to fill the void with top notch content. Here are the shows and movies which made our drab work-from-home days a little more interesting this year.
Special Ops (Disney+ Hotstar)
The success of Special Ops lies in its ‘international’ feel and the huge canvas it operated on. Led by an excellent Kay Kay Menon, a variety of actors showcased their potential and demonstrated the need for such shows in Hindi. Leave aside shows, we haven’t made many good spy films in recent times, so it came as a pleasant surprise amid all the blood and gore the Indian OTT space is used to.
