Bars and restaurants celebrate getting back to what we do as COVID-19 restrictions roll back

On May 1, outdoor bars can reopen in Connecticut, without the requirement that they serve food, with their curfews moved to midnight, and with the eight-person per-table limit lifted. Tavern owners with outdoor seating said they like to see restrictions lifted, but that doesn’t mean they’ll change their own procedures immediately.

With mixed results he dove into a string of jobs chicken breeder, actor, marketer of petroleum products, shopkeeper, newspaperman and traveling salesman but continued to reinvent himself, reflecting a uniquely American brand of confidence, imagination and innovation.
