The Detroit Public Schools Community District says marijuana use among students has skyrocketed since the legalization of the drug in Michigan and is calling on state leaders to intervene.
During his State of the Schools address, DPSCD Superintendent Dr. Nikolai Vitti expressed that students are making advancements in literacy and test scores. However, there is still a lot of work to be done.
