Jennifer L. Jorde 61 of Blaine passed away February 14, 2024, after a long illness. Jennifer graduated from Detroit Lakes High School in 1981, earned her Bachelor of Science at Minnesota State University, Moorhead and gained her Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology at the University of Nevada, Reno. As a young adult, she spent a summer working at the Island Girl on Big Detroit Lake, enjoyed countless hours with beloved friends floating on Sauer Lake, eating at Zorbaz, riding motorcycles through the Vergas Trails and wandering around the Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge. Jennifer spent 30 years working as a Speech Pathologist with elementary school children in Brooklyn Center, MN, she loved working with this population and often reminisced about how wonderful “her kids” were. She is preceded in death by parents Dale and CoraJean “Corky” Hagen, Father - Donovan C. Jorde, and niece Christina Jorde. Survived by her loving partner of 23 years Bruce Belden, daughters O
