The sale included the land and buildings and it was noted no new construction was planned for the 233 Frazee St. E. location. The planned use category remained the same as the current designation.
Property owner Karen Skoyles told the Detroit Lakes Board of Appeals and Equalization this week that her family's 6.4 acre property on Ox Cart Trail shouldn't have more than doubled in value when no major additions were made to the property or surrounding area.

Also, the city's assessment Board of Review will convene on April 26 at 9:30 a.m. for residents to raise objections over their recent property assessments.
