Heavy snow and gusty winds ramp up after 5pm through. Amounts between 6"-8" expected. A bullseye of 8"-10" is likely just north and west of Detroit. The heaviest snow falls between 5 PM - 12 AM
Temps climb above freezing after about 10am. Wind stays light, and we may even see some fog into the afternoon. The wind quickly picks up this evening and temperatures rising through the 40s.
We'll transition from snow to sleet to freezing rain and at times, just rain today. Some roads may be slick this afternoon, but travel becomes dangerous after 4pm with the heaviest icing through 10pm.
Temps rise into the upper 30s, but it's going to feel like the mid 20s with gusts over 35 mph at times. A winter storm watch begins at Noon tomorrow as snow, sleet and freezing rain develop.
