A man, woman and 2-year-old child were pulled safely from a Naperville retention pond early Tuesday afternoon, according to a police official. Naperville police and fire responded to a call about 1 p.m. in reference to a car in the water just south of the city’s 95th Street Library, police Cmdr. Michaus Williams said. Three responding officers entered the water and broke a car window to rescue .
