Police in the Eastern Cape are investigating a case of concealment of birth after waste pickers discovered a foetus dumped at the Missionvale Road dumpsite in Gqeberha on Monday morning.
According to police, the foetus was discovered wrapped in a blanket. Anyone who can assist in tracing the mother or may have information that can assist police in their investigation is asked to contact Detective Warrant Officer Errol Kleinhans on 082 302 6419 or SAPS Algoa Park on 041 401 1061 or Crime Stop 08600 10111 or their nearest police station, police spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu said.
