Police in the North West has launched a manhunt for suspects involved in the shooting of a 58-year-old motorist in Mmakau outside Brits.
Police spokesperson, Sam Tselanyane, in a statement says it s alleged that the motorist, Sello Kgasi, was ambushed and shot execution-style by two gun-wielding suspects.
This after the deceasedâs white Toyota Quantum minibus got a puncture after he drove over spikes that were spread across the road near Solar Panels camp on the R566 road between Mmakau and Brits.
Kgasi was in the company of two female passengers and was shot just when he was about to replace the tyre.

Johannesburg - North West Police are looking for gunmen who ambushed and shot dead a motorist after the spikes they had allegedly laid on the road punctured his carâs tyres.
Sello Kgasi, 58, got out of the car to change his tyre only to be shot dead by two men who allegedly were speaking in Shona. They also took his gun.
His two female passengers who watched as he was shot dead were robbed of their money and cellphones by the same men who then fled.
