Police raided several addresses linked to the gang this morning - including their pad , known as the Snake Pit Boxing Gym, in Middleton.
Three men are now facing charges of assault and participating in an organised criminal group.
Detective Senior Sergeant Colin Baillie says the assaults on innocent members of the public took place outside a bar on Victoria Street.
