To the Editor:
Dec. 20 marked the six-year anniversary of the line-of-duty death of two New York City police officers from the 84th Precinct Detective Bureau. Detectives Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu were shot and killed in Brooklyn while sitting in a marked patrol car Dec. 20, 2014. They died doing the job they loved.
My deepest condolences go to the family of Detective Wenjian Liu, his wife, Sanny Liu, and his 3-year-old daughter, Angelina; as well as the family of Detective Rafael Ramos, his wife, Maritza Ramos, and his two sons, Justin and Jayden.
