Dalton Man Pleads Guilty To Molesting 2 Children Tuesday, July 6, 2021 Bobby Reaves Bobby Ray Reaves, Sr., 33, formerly of 1606 Lynwood Drive, NE, Dalton, pled guilty on  Tuesday in two separate cases of child molestation involving two different victims.    Reaves was sentenced by Superior Court Judge William Boyett to serve 12 years in prison followed by eight years on probation on one case, and 12 years in prison followed by one year of probation on the other with both cases to be served concurrently  Child molestation carries a maximum penalty of 20 years confinement.  Reaves had no prior record before his 2019 arrest on these cases.   The first case involved acts which occurred in 2015.  At the time of the disclosure, there was insufficient evidence to proceed on that case.  However, in 2019 a second victim came forward leading to further investigation and the prosecution of both cases.  Detective Ronnie Morris with the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office

Woman, driving with a suspended license, charged with fatally injuring man in East Brunswick

MyCentralJersey.com EAST BRUNSWICK - A 39-year-old Port Norris woman has been charged with fatally striking a man with a tractor trailer in the township, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Frank LoSacco of the East Brunswick Police Department said in a release. Kimberly Holmes was arrested and charged Tuesday with third-degree causing death or injury, while driving with a suspended license, authorities said. At about 6:12 a.m., authorities responded to 19A Cottage Lane following a report of an unconscious male laying on a warehouse loading dock. Upon their arrival, authorities located Uttam Sharma, 43, of Jackson Heights, New York, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
