(WXYZ) â The Monroe County Sheriff s Office is investigating a shooting that left two teens injured on Monday. night.
Police say they were called to the area of Stewart Rd. and Telegraph Rd. around 10:15 p.m. on report of a shooting.
According to police, the victim s vehicle was driving east on Stewart Rd. when a small dark car pulled next to them. A man got out of the other car and opened fire on the victim s vehicle.
An 18-year-old Monroe woman was shot several times, and a 17-year-old passenger was also injured. Two 20-year-old women and two children in the car were not injured.

FRENCHTOWN TWP., Mich. - Monroe police are looking for a man who allegedly shot up a vehicle carrying six people, including two children Monday night.
Police responding to an intersection at Frenchtown Township said a suspect got out of a vehicle and fired on another vehicle, injuring two teenagers in the process.
The suspect then fled the scene and one woman is now in critical condition.
Monroe County Sheriff s deputies responded to the area of Stewart and Telegraph Road around 10:15 p.m. last night after reports of a shooting in progress.
