Woman stabbed at Shrewsbury storage facility expected to survive; Arrest warrant issued for suspect

A woman who was stabbed at a storage facility in Shrewsbury this week is expected to survive, and an arrest warrant has been issued for the person accused of attacking her, police said.
Officers received a 911 call around 5:45 p.m. Wednesday about a woman bleeding after being stabbed in the neck at Extra Space Storage at 53 Clinton St., according to a statement the Shrewsbury Police Department posted to Facebook on Friday.
Patrol officers and detectives found a 37-year-old woman who had been stabbed with a broken glass tube. She was given emergency medical attention by police and taken to the hospital by Worcester EMS paramedics to be treated for her severe injury, according to the department’s post. The victim’s expected to survive, the statement noted.
