Last weekendâs strong debut of âA Quiet Place Part IIâ has many in the film industry hopeful that audiences are willing to return to the cinema for in-person screenings. Here in the Berkshires, there are plenty of options for a night out or an afternoon matinee. The Crandell Theatre, in Chatham, N.Y. â the only cinema still showing films virtually in the area â has announced plans to reopen on July 1.
