Nashville police seek stepson after man found fatally shot Rachel Wegner, Nashville Tennessean UP NEXT
Nashville police are searching for the stepson of James Springer, 60, who was found dead on the side of the road on Feb. 17.
Police said they are searching for Charles Edward Sykes, 42, after he was seen with Springer that night. The two men were seen traveling from Springer s home on Saunders Ave. to a sandwich shop on W. Trinity Lane.
He was found fatally shot on the side of West Hamilton Road near Drakes Branch Road by a resident who was out walking the next morning, MNPD said. His 2017 blue Nissan Rogue was missing for days until it was found burnt and barely recognizable on Sunday in a Scovel Street alley in North Nashville, according to police.
