Hulu has a little something for everyone this May.
The Disney -controlled streaming service will launch the third and final season of Aidy Bryant’s comedy series
“Shrill” (May 7), as a newly single Annie hits the dating scene; the animated Marvel supervillain series
“M.O.D.O.K.” (May 21), with the voice of Patton Oswalt; and the third season of the animated kids show
“Madagascar: A Little Wild” (May 27).
There’s also the third and final season of the Australian hitman dramedy
“Mr. Inbetween” (May 26), streaming a day after episodes air on FX; a new season of Freeform’s dramedy

Netflix has picked up international rights to “The Yin Yang Master” a film that is one of the big seven tentpole titles that will open in mainland Chinese cinemas on Friday and compete for Lunar New Year holiday audiences.
Netflix acquired distribution rights in the rest of the world ex-mainland China from Huayi Brothers Media (“The Eight Hundred”).

The fantasy movie is a game-to-film adaptation of “Onmyoji” directed by Li Weiran (“Love Will Tear Us Apart,” “Welcome to Shamatown”) and starring Chen Kun (“Mojin: The Lost Legend”) and Zhou Xun (“Cloud Atlas,” “Painted Skin”).
