Julian Harriss. Pic Thames Valley Police A PAEDOPHILE has been jailed after he admitted engaging in sexual activity in front of a child. Julian Harriss appeared in the dock of Oxford Crown Court on Monday (April 19) and pleaded guilty to the three counts. It was said how the offences took place over a decade between 2010 and 2020, when the girl was under 16. The 51-year-old of Britannia Road, Banbury, was jailed to 21 months in prison and was made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order for 10 years after his release. Investigating officer, Detective Constable Kelly Gilbert, said: “Harriss engaged in sexual activity in front of a child which is a criminal offence and had an impact that stayed with the victim.
