Grand Forks RCMP said crime stats show that local Mounties were slightly busier this year compared to the same time frame of 2020.
Despite Covid restrictions, Grand Forks RCMP said calls for service slightly went up compared to same period in 2020.
In a media release, Grand Forks RCMP said crime stats show that local Mounties were slightly busier this year compared to the same time frame of 2020.
From January 1 to March 31 of 2020, local police attended 651 calls for service. In the same period of 2021, police responded to 679 calls for service, which equates to a 4% increase.
