Ferry services have been cancelled and a red weather warning has been issued for the Channel Islands as Storm Ciaran sweeps in towards the south of England.
The Met Office warns areas across the UK already hit by Storm Babet are at risk of more flooding as Storm Ciaran approaches - with police in Northern Ireland urging people not to travel amid heavy rain and weather warnings.
