An area couple lost more than $50,000 in a business scam.
According to Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft’s Security Division, Desmond R. Bloss of Cutting Edge Supplements, LLC, has been ordered to cease and desist after allegedly misusing a $60,000 investment.
Between November 2016 and June 2017, Bloss received a total amount of $60,000 investment for Cutting Edge Supplements, LLC, and other specific business purposes. However, the statement says the money was used for a different business and for personal expenses. To date, the Missouri couple has not received return or repayment of their investment.
