The Warrington native immediately showed he was special. Sidwar’s first two passes in his debut against North Penn went for touchdowns and he finished the 37-28 win with 204 yards and four scores. He played in six games as a freshman before getting sidelined with a broken collarbone early on against St. Joseph’s Prep. Springfield celebrates work of Martin Luther King Jr. amid turmoil, strife

SPRINGFIELD Speakers taking part in the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. celebration at City Hall said Friday civil unrest nationwide, including last week’s deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol, shows much more work is needed to advance the work of the slain civil rights icon.
The gathering, which was kept small due to the coronavirus pandemic, included praise of King in his struggles for racial equality and civil rights, and strong criticism of President Donald Trump in his final days of office. Trump has been impeached on a charge of inciting the insurrection and faces a Senate trial.
