BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - A Biloxi man is under arrest following a shooting at a Biloxi apartment complex Tuesday morning. The shooting happened around 10:20 a.m. at Elmwood Apartments on Lawrence Street.
According to Biloxi Police, officers arrived to find a victim who appeared to be suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. The person was apparently shot during an argument. Witnesses described the suspected gunman and the vehicle he was driving. A short time later, officers stopped a vehicle matching that description.

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) - An 8-year-old Vancleave girl is now recovering after being hit by a car at the bus stop Thursday morning, and the woman involved in the accident has been charged with a misdemeanor.
The woman was charged with overtaking a school bus, which means she didn’t stop for the bus.
