Im greg argos, Natasha Brown is off. Tonight, we know that are a woman and two children were killed early this morning when that philadelphia home went up in flames. Hours later, damage to the building is a somber reminder of what happened there. Eyewitness News Reporter anita oh spoke with witnesses and neighbors who watched the fire burn. I look out the window and saw a big ball of fire. Reporter around 4 40, neighbors woke to had a home engulfed in flames in north philadelphia. Like, an oil rig was burning or something. Like huge flumes of smoke. Two parents inside jumped to safety. Fire officials have confirm three people have died in this blaze including one adult and two young children. Sad. Reporter 30 Philadelphia Fire Department vehicles and about 100 firefighters raced to the scene. When our companies arrived, there was fire coming out of every window. Susan good evening and welcome to cspan and the National Constitution centers landmark cases. Tonight we will be examining a 1944 war powers case before the Supreme Court. It is the story of korematsu versus the United States. Fred korematsu was the japaneseamerican who challenged the right of the government to forcibly detain people during world war ii. You may know a bit about this history, American History during world war ii. Many japaneseamericans were gathered. 120,000 by some estimates. They were detained through the course of the war.
