Elizabeth Stottlemyre in the javelin (45.13m/148-1). Shaw also has a pair of No. 2 rankings in the discus (46.03m/151-0) and hammer throw (54.00m/177-2). What’s even more impressive for the Bulldogs is that they have six of the top-10 nationally ranked marks in the discus.
Southeastern (Fla.) comes in at No. 2 for another week and claimed five top-10 nationally ranked efforts from five different athletes at the Spikes Classic:

NEW ORLEANS – National Athletes of the Week for April 6 were announced on Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Here are those individuals who earned national honors from the USTFCCCA for their efforts during the continuing outdoor track & field season.

NCAA Division III Men – Dallas Wright, Wartburg

Trpimir Siroki (No. 1, 7515),
Elvis Kryukov (No. 3, 7037),
Jakob Porter (No. 6, 6868) and
Kyle Lumpkins (No. 10, 6653). The event that helped Siroki notch the national lead in the decathlon was the long jump, where he soared 7.56m (24-9¾) for the No. 4 performance on the Descending Order List. Other top performers for Angelo State are
Nicholas Ellisor in the 400 (No. 3, 47.06) and
Trivett Jones in the pole vault at (No. 3, 5.21m/17-1). Ellisor also anchored the top-ranked 4×400 (3:12.22).
Grand Valley State competed at the WKU Hilltopper Relays and picked up several top marks, bringing their season total to 13 top-10 nationally ranked efforts. The Lakers now have two of the top-3 hurdlers in the nation in

The Knights ended the season with 16 national top-10 marks, including chart-toppers in the 400 (Dallas Wright, 48.42), 5000 (Joe Freiburger, 14:25.87) and DMR (9:53.96). Wright, who is also ranked in the top-5 in the 60H (No. 4, 8.10), is one of several Wartburg athletes ranked among the top-10 in multiple events: Christopher Collet (No. 4, mile; No. 6 3000), Freiburger (No. 1, 5000; No. 3, 3000; No. 6 mile) and Derrick Smith (No. 2, 200; No. 5, 60) are some others.
Loras jumped three spots from Week 7 to Week 8 and concluded the season with 13 national top-10 marks. Mike Jasa is the only chart-topper with his 800-meter effort of 1:51.31, but eight other performances reside in the top-5 nationally, including two second-best showings in the 4×400 (3:16.51) and DMR (10:06.49).
